Our Purpose Statement

Four Commitments to Spiritual Growth

…united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Philippians 2:2

1. LOVING GOD (Commune with God)

Come to our Sunday morning Worship Service where we meet with God and celebrate our Savior together by means of prayer, praise and preaching.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and  with all your soul,  and with all your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment. Matthew 22:37, 38

2. SHARING LIFE (Connect with Friends)

Join a home fellowship Care Group designed to cultivate close, caring friendships and encourage spiritual growth through Bible study, sharing, prayer and enjoying meals together.

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor. Romans 12:10

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. John 13:34, 35

3. LEARNING TRUTH (Concentrate on God’s Word)

Become a student of Scripture by attending our Institute of Biblical Studies on Sunday mornings where together our faith can grow stronger through the knowledge of God’s truth that has the power to set us free.

If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:31,32

Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. John 17:17

4. SERVING PEOPLE (Converge on a Need)

Discover your God-given gifts and join a Ministry Action Team to show and share God’s love and God’s Son by meeting needs in the church and in the community and in the world.

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10

Our people must also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, so that they will not be unfruitful. Titus 3:14

Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Colossians 4:5
